Florida Sailing and
Cruising School is a great place to enjoy a �Learn
to Sail Vacation�. We offer boathandling lessons
on sailboats,
trawlers and powerboats. We are an American Sailing Association
Certification Facility (ASA) as well as one of the
leading power boat schools in the country.
We offer a variety
of learning experiences and can help the novice
learn necessary boat handling skills while offering
more advanced courses for the experienced sailor. Our
instructors are licensed U.S. Coast Guard captains
with experience in racing, cruising and yacht
maintenance and our sailing lessons include all aspects of sailing and cruising. What a great way for
the family to be together and learn skills that they
can share over the years. While on your �Learn
to Sail Vacation� you will live and learn aboard
your choice of sail trawler or power yacht. Our Florida
Sailing School is located on the
West Coast of
Florida and we have some of the most unique
sailing areas in the world. The Gulf of Mexico beckons
you offshore, while the protected waters of Charlotte
Harbor, Pine Island Sound, and the Caloosahatchee
River allow you to explore remote islands and beaches
or sail into some of the nicest marine resorts in
Florida. The sailing trawler and powerboat lessons are both water and land
based and designed to help you learn skills that will
make you conversant in nautical language, basic knot
tying, chart reading, line handling, and of course
safety aboard and ashore. We offer
11 separate
Courses and are sure that at least one of them
will meet your needs.
